Romania to increase its participation to IMF by EUR 900 M

Romania is to increase its participation to the International Monetary Fund (IMF) from SDR 1.03 bln to SDR 1.81 bln, three quarters of the increase being expected to be operated in RON. The amounts will be paid by the National Bank of Romania (BNR). All rights and obligations derived from the relationship with the international monetary institution will be due for BNR, Mediafax informs.
