Dvorak and Stravinsky at Radio Hall under Jin Wang’s baton

The conductor Jin Wang will be back at the helm of the National Radio Orchestra on Friday, November 11, 7pm, at the Radio Hall, according to a release quoted by HotNews.ro. The first part of the programme will include the “Carnival Overture”, op. 92, by Antonin Dvorak, and the same composer’s “Concerto in B minor for cello and orchestra”, op. 104, featuring cellist Razvan Suma. In the second part, music-lovers will be treated to the music for the “Petrushka” ballet by Igor Stravinsky.

Jin Wang can boast over 600 concerts at the helm of prestigious European orchestras, including the radio symphonic orchestras in Copenhagen, Stockholm and Berlin, the Liverpool Royal Philharmonic, the Toscanini Philharmonic Orchestra (Italy), the Prague Symphonic Orchestra (FOK), the philharmonics in Helsinki, Bergen, Stockholm, as well as the national orchestras of Taiwan, China, Singapore, South Korea and Japan.
