Former ANOFM President Silviu Bian taken to court for bribe-taking

Former National Employment Agency (ANOFM) President Silviu Bian, who is currently under preventive arrest, was taken to trial, anti-corruption prosecutors accusing him of bribe-taking, Mediafax informs. Alexandra Maria Tichinelean, director of ANOFM’s Intermediary Body for the Development of Human Resources Operational Sectoral Programme, and Cristache Ristea, executive director of the National Centre for Professional Training of Own Personnel, are also on trial, accused of being accessories to bribe-taking. We remind our readers that National Anti-Corruption Office (DNA) prosecutors accuse Bian of taking more than EUR 270,000 from civil servants employed within ANOFM’s county branches.
