League I: Players warn of strike

League I players will wear white armbands in their leg 14 games, as a form of protest against the Litigation Commission’s (CSL) delay in publishing its decisions and the Professional Football League’s (LPF) decision to hike from 60 to 90 days the period in which players can ask to become free of contract, Mediafax informs. The decision was taken during a meeting organized by the Professional and Amateur Football Players’ Association (AFAN). Romeo Surdu, Emilian Dolha, Florin Maxim, Candido Costa, Eduard Stancioiu and Casian Miclaus are among the 25 players affected by CSL’s delay in publishing its decisions.
