Meteorologists announce lows of -10 degrees Celsius and snowfalls over limited areas.
The weather entered a significant cooling-down process yesterday, minimum temperatures ranging from -6 to 4 degrees Celsius yesterday. In Bucharest, the maximum temperature did not surpass 8 degrees C. Rainfalls were registered over limited areas at the mountain side (mixed rainfalls), in hilly regions and low-lying southern and eastern regions.
Today the weather will be colder than usual for this time of year. The sky will be variable, temporarily overcast at the mountain side where light snowfalls are expected. The wind speed will be higher in Moldavia, Baragan and Dobrogea. Maximum temperatures will range from 0 to 10 degrees, while minimum temperatures will range from -10 to 0 degrees C, meteoromania.ro informs. Fog and white frost will be registered in the morning in low-lying areas, particularly in western and central regions. In Bucharest, there will be a minimum temperature of 0 degrees and a maximum temperature of 7 degrees C.
Cold weather on Saturday too. The sky will be variable, temporarily overcast in eastern regions. There will be light snowfalls in mountainous areas. The wind speed will be low to moderate, with some hikes at high altitudes. Maximum temperatures will range from 0 to 10 degrees, while minimum temperatures will range from -10 to 0 degrees C. Fog will be registered in low-lying areas at night and in the morning. The sky will be mostly overcast. Maximum temperatures of 5-6 degrees, minimum temperatures of -2 – 0 degrees C. At the mountain side the weather will be cold, there will be light snowfalls and the sky will be variable. The wind speed will be generally low, with hikes at high altitudes.
