Social-Democrat Senator Olguta Vasilescu yesterday announced that lawmakers with the Social-Democrat Party (PSD) and the National Liberal Party (PNL) of the Social-Liberal Union (USL) will challenge in the Constitutional Court of Romania (CCR) the national archives law and the Ordinance freezing public employee salaries and the pensions, two normative acts recently passed by Parliament. The PSD senator says the recently-passed national archives law will make it impossible for citizens claiming property in court to access personal documents.
