Officials from Serbia’s NIS Oil Company, a Gazprom Neft subsidiary, are negotiating the acquisition of eight gas stations belonging to the Bucharest-based Western Group Energy (WEG), adevarul.ro informs. The eight gas stations are currently operated under Lukoil franchise and are located throughout Romania. According to WEG officials, the gas stations’ value totals EUR 15 M. NIS, the Serbian company whose main shareholder is Gazprom, owns two refineries in Serbia, with a total capacity of 7.3 million tons per year, and needs a larger market for its oil products.
