EBRD: Be prepared for a crisis in Eastern Europe!

The emerging Europe has all reasons to brace for a new crisis, the Chief Economist of EBRD, Erik Berglof warns in a report of the institution, quoted by Realitatea.net. Romania is the third most exposed country in the region to the possible negative shocks induced by the weak economies of the euro zone: Greece, Ireland, Italy, Portugal and Spain. On the other hand, the EBRD report shows that the present crisis has eroded the confidence of people across the region in democracy and market economy.
