Former national team captain Cristian Chivu was recently in Romania where he attended, as godfather, the christening of Daniel Niculae’s daughter. According to ProSport, Chivu hinted that he mulls returning at the national team but added that the Romanian Football Federation did not contact him for the time being. “In order to think whether I’d still come or not I’d have to be contacted,” Chivu allegedly said.
