The 14th edition of the Etnovember Festival will take place, from Saturday to Monday, in Brasov, with concerts of jazz, classic and medieval music, dance shows, and exhibitions of photography, architecture, graphic art and furniture design. The festival is jointly hosted by the Brasov Art Museum, the Casa Muresenilor Museum, the Aula of the Transilvania University, and the Weavers’ Bastion.
The Aula of the Transilvania University will host Saturday, starting with 9.00 PM, a jazz&blues concert of ‘The Original Patershol Ragtimes’ band, featuring British saxophonist John Defferary and Belgian guitarist Willy de Vleeschouwer. Entrance is free.
The attraction of the festival will be the medieval shows held at the Weavers’ Bastion, Sunday, from 1.00 PM. The last day of the festival, Monday, is dedicated to poetry, and will start at 2.00 PM at the Literature Faculty. Starting with 5.00 PM, Casa Muresenilor will host a piano and vocal concert of musician Norbert Detaeye.
