Women’s handball: Romania wins Carpathian Trophy

The Romanian women’s team won the 35th edition of the Carpathian Trophy on Sunday in Drobeta Turnu Severin, after defeating Serbia in the last game, score 37-18 (22-8 at half time), Agerpres informs. In another game on Sunday, Hungary defeated Macedonia, score 31-20 (16-11 at half time). The Carpathian Trophy was the last test before the World Championship in Brazil, a tournament scheduled in December.
