Nearly RON 200,000 spent on shows for the National Day

Nearly RON 200,000, out of the RON 400,000 received by the Alba Iulia municipality from the government for the events that will celebrate the National Day of Romania, will be spent on concerts, shows and fireworks, Mediafax informs. The biggest sums will be paid for the concerts of Mozart Rocks, Holograf, and Zdob si Zdub, which will earn between RON 40,000 and RON 43,000 each. Over RON 10,000 will be the fee of Opera Group Project – a band comprising members of the Cluj Opera and Philharmonic Orchestra, a sum worth RON 25,000 will be used to finance the production of a 3D film, and RON 13,000 will be paid for a fireworks show. TV host Robert Turcescu, who will present the classic concerts, will receive RON 7,900. More than RON 44,000 have been allotted for the accommodation and catering of the guests that will attend the events, and another RON 15,000 will be the cost of the dinner for the members of the local and central media on the occasion of inaugurating the new Press Center, which will stay open during the events.
