Police officer caught using counterfeit money

A police officer from the Olt County Police Inspectorate was caught on Saturday morning while trying to buy, in disguise, food with counterfeit notes from a supermarket in Bals, Mediafax reports. “The agent had been working within the Public Safety Service since 1996 and did not get in any trouble until now. The IPJ Olt Criminal Investigation Service took charge of the case,” chief inspector Violeta Tinca, spokesperson for the Olt Police, stated. The investigators made a search at the home of the man, who will be investigated for counterfeiting and fraud.
