The company Prospectiuni, owned by the businessman Ovidiu Tender, obtained from the Senegalese government the right to prospect six perimeters for mineral resources, including gold, heavy metals and rare metals, and will start its operations in January 2012, Mediafax reports. Furthermore, the company Prospectiuni recently signed a memorandum with Petrosen, Senegal’s national oil company, to set up a joint venture called Petro-Prospectiuni. Petro-Prospectiuni will be registered in Dakar and Petrosen will hold 51 pc of shares, while the rest will be owned by Prospectiuni.
