Orange: Care concept becomes increasingly important

Jean-Francois Fallacher, CEO Orange Romania, Julien Ducarroz, Chief Commercial Officer Orange Romania, and Phillipe Bernard, Executive Vice-president Sales and Care Orange, laid out at a press conference yesterday the group’s vision on the Care concept, the results of the Orange Care services, the company’s strategy on that segment and its most recent developments, including the new Care Center. At the Orange Care Center, customers could choose from the Orange Care service portfolio of services including Insurance by phone, content transfer or Smart Services – a coaching session on using a smartphone. Over the past two years, the Orange Care Center has posted more than satisfying figures, with the telephone, card data and modem  insurance alone adding up to circa 600,000 contracts. The SIM backup agenda totalled nearly 160,000 customers. A number of 70,000 content transfer transactions have been conducted over the past two years. During January-September of this year, close to 10,000 emergency calls have been redirected and 12,000 customers/year requested assistance from a smartphone expert.
