Christmas Bazaar at Serendipity Teahouse

The Serendipity Teahouse invites you over the weekend to immerse yourself in the holiday spirit of the Santa Claus workshops! Saturday and Sunday, 11.00 am to 5.00 pm, richly aromatic teas, surprises, handicraft workshops, and tombola will be waiting for you every hour. The bazaar is dedicated to all those who wish to put original gifts under the Christmas tree, while avoiding the big crowds and standard products in supermarkets. This year’s bazaar, the fourth, provides you with the opportunity to choose those unique objects that make the perfect gift: adornments, accessories and decorations skilfully created by gifted artists passionate about their work. The little ones are awaited 11.00 am to 2 pm at the handmade workshops to become diligent Santa goblins! The entry fee is RON 5 and includes a cup of aromatic tea and a tombola draw ticket.

Christmas carol concerts with MelostTon

Also at Serendipity, Saturday, 9:30 pm, the MelosTon choir group, a mixed choir on four voices, soprano, alto, tenor, bass/baritone, will perform a concert of Christmas carols from both the Romanian and international repertoire. Originally, carols had a ritual function, being meant as songs of fertility and abundance. The custom used to be linked to the beginning of the agrarian year, the coming of spring namely, or its end, autumn, the crop time). Carols were also sung as a means of protection against evil spirits.
