Former Cluj mayor remanded for another 30 days

Sorin Apostu, the suspended mayor of Cluj-Napoca, and businessman Calin Stoia have been remanded in custody for yet another 30 days, after the High Court of Cassation and Justice <Romania’s Supreme Court> rejected their court appeals on Friday, Mediafax reports. Apostu and Stoia, general manager Brantner Romania, were remanded in custody on late November 10 into early November 11, for taking, and giving bribe, respectively.
