Romania, next-to-last in the EU, in terms of purchasing power

Romania ranked next-to-last in the European Union (EU) in 2010, based on its Gross Domestic Product (GDP) per capita expressed as parity of the standard purchasing power, with 46 pc of the EU average, only ahead of Bulgaria (44 pc), according to estimative figures released by Eurostat yesterday, Money.ro informs….
