New National Library of Romania opened yesterday. The event was a preview showing ahead of the actual opening to the public.
PM Emil Boc, Culture Minister Kelemen Hunor and Theodor Paleologu attended. The new library has 14 large reading halls, 6 conference halls, an aula seating 400, 30,000 square metres of book storage space and 15,000 square metres of multifunctional space for exhibitions, auditions, book stores and cafes.
