Min Udrea, disgruntled with MAI

The Minister of Regional Development and Tourism, Elena Udrea, accused yesterday the Minister of Administration and Internal Affairs of making it difficult for Chinese and Russian tourists to get visas, thus keeping them away from Romania. She further stated that the problem was difficult to solve as the visa-granting procedure is very complicated. She added that she had reported the problem to both the president Basescu and PM Emil Boc. “However, so that you know, civil servants are always more powerful than the heads of institutions. ,” Udrea argued.
