Christmas carols recitals

On Christmas Eve, from 9pm, Green Hours (120, Calea Victoriei) hosts a special Maria Raducanu concert – vocal, guitar … & bells. “We lure the snow, we teach snowing, we go caroling at the End of the Night… Come along!,” the artist’s invitation reads. Also on offer, traditional Romanian snacks – hog’s pudding, leberwurst, pork rinds, homemade ham, cheese, smoked cheese, water onion, assorted pickles and mulled wine. Entrance fee: RON 50 for one paid in advance or RON 55 on concert day.

You can spend the most magical night of winter at Club “A” (14, Blanari). On Sunday, December 25, 9pm, visitors will be welcomed with “sarmale”, “cozonac” and wine on the house, so they can feel at home. The traditional Christmas party at Club “A” would not be complete without a very special Christmas carols recital, offered by Maria Gheorghiu. She will be joined by Santa’s little helpers, who will spread the Christmas cheer in a mini-concert. The public’s entrance is free.
