New Right wants to set up party

Tudor Ionescu, the head of the New Right organization, has filed yesterday within the Bucharest Court’s registry office approximately 30,000 signatures in favour of setting up a party. “The party’s main goal will be to save the Romanian state and nation. We have a 25-point programme that will propel Romania among the world’s top 15 states,” Tudor Ionescu stated for Mediafax. He added that the 25 points include union with the Republic of Moldova, on the basis of the GDR-FRG principle, stopping the demographic decline, confiscating illegal fortunes and cancelling fraudulent privatizations.
