The two famous witches Roxana Lider, dubbed Vanessa, and Rada Minc?, nick-named Melissa, have been eventually put behind bars. According to Mediafax, Vanessa, for whom the authorities had issued an all-point bulletin after the court issued a remand warrant in her name, turned herself in to the Police, initially trying to evade the preventive 29-day arrest measure. Her ‘colleague’, Melissa, had been found the night before, when she was arrested. The two witches are accused of fraud and blackmail. They were advertising in the press and on banners claiming to be the best clairvoyants and were demanding jewellery, money and other goods from their clients (public persons – our note). If they wanted to renounce their services, the withes would start making threats. One of their victims is TV star Oana Zavoranu who, according to the account given by the Court, gave the two suspects big sums of money and valuable assets under the pressure of threats.
