Teenager killed in dumping ground accident

A 14-year-old who found himself on the dumping ground outside Resita, Caras-Severin County, was killed yesterday, being run over by a bulldozer owned by the local sanitation company, whose driver claimed he failed to see the boy because the waste was burning and the area was filled with smoke. The police established that the bulldozer driver, a 59-year-old man, was indeed prevented from seeing the boy by the smoke and fog. The teenager was killed on the spot and the driver is now investigated on charges of accidental killing.
