On Tuesday evening, as a guest of the Chinese Embassy, the president Traian Basescu put on a cook’s apron and joined the Chinese ambassador in preparing a number of traditional Chinese dishes, according to photos posted on Wednesday on the Presidential Administration’s website. The aprons, decorated with images of cakes and fruit, were bearing the message “Sweet taste”. Participants in the ceremony at the Chinese Embassy were treated to a demonstration of traditional dances. The head of state addressed everyone present.
