290 young Romanians compete for three positions of presidential advisor at Cotroceni

Approximately 290 university graduates, most of them coming from abroad, expressed their intention to become advisors of the head of state, Presidency spokesman Valeriu Turcan announced, adding that the president will see them today. “Given the high number of candidates, there will probably be a selection procedure,” Turcan mentioned. According to sources with the Presidential Administration, quoted by Mediafax, the deadline for submitting applications was Friday evening. Last week, President Basescu invited Romanian students that graduated abroad to occupy, without contest, the three vacant positions of state counselor with the Presidential Administration, only based on the graduation diplomas they obtained outside Romania.
