Hungarians hold anti-EU protest

Several thousands of people rallied in Budapest on Saturday to protest against the European Union, website b92.net reported. The protesters demanded Hungary’s exit from the Union. Two MPs of Jobbik, the second largest party in the Hungarian parliament, torched the EU flag in front of the European Commission Office in Budapest. The protest represents an additional pressure on the Hungarian government which is trying to reach an agreement on financial aid with the EU and the International Monetary Fund in order to avoid insolvency.
