First 2012 concert at Radio Hall

The Romania Radio Musical Ensembles open the second half of the concert and recital series at the Radio Hall. This year’s first concert, scheduled for tomorrow, at 7pm, is offered by the Radio Chamber Orchestra, under the baton of master conductor Leonard Boga, featuring the young pianist Andrei Licaret, HotNews.ro reports. The programme will include the “Prometheus” Overture by Ludwig van Beethoven, the Concerto no. 27 in B flat major for piano and orchestra, KV 595, by W.A. Mozart, and the Serenade for string orchestra op. 48 by P.I. Tchaikovsky. Since his debut in November 7, 1993, alongside the “Jeunesses Musicales” orchestra, with the Concerto in C major for piano and orchestra KV 246 by W.A. Mozart, Andrei Licaret has built up a rich repertoire, throughout numberless recitals and concerts alongside prestigious orchestras in Romania and elsewhere. Tickets are available via the Eventim network, at the Radio Hall’s box-office, in Germanos and Vodafone shops, Carturesti and Humanitas bookshops and online on www.eventim.ro.
