Friday concert at the Radio Hall

On Friday, January 20, from 7pm, the Radio Hall will host a concert offered by the Radio Chamber Orchestra, conducted by maestro Adrian Morar, featuring violinist Cristina Anghelescu, the Radio Musical Ensembles inform. The concert will open with Cluj-born composer Adrian Pop’s work “Solstice”, inspired by a Christmas carol from Bihor called “The Sun Carol”, followed by the “Concerto no. 3 in B minor for violin and orchestra”, op. 61, by Camille Saint-Saens, composed in 1880 for violinist Pablo de Sarasate. In the second half of the programme, music-lovers will be treated to Robert Schumman’s “Carnival” (op. 9, 1834, a piano work), in Theodor Rogalski’s adaptation for orchestra. Tickets can be purchased via the Eventim network, from the Radio Hall box-office, Germanos and Vodafone shops, Carturesti and Humanitas bookshops and online from www.eventim.ro.
