Laid-off military body to stage rally

The Laid-off Military Cadres Trade Union will organize on January 24 a protest rally in the Victoriei Square, starting from Calea Dorobanti-Pangrati, as well as a series of protests on the sidewalk by the Leu monument, between January 23 and 31, after receiving a permit from the authorities. In their application for a permit, the trade union announced it would organize public protest assemblies on the sidewalk by the Leu monument, January 23 to 31, 10am to 7pm. According to the Bucharest Mayor’s Office, the organizers announced about 150 people would join in the protests daily.
