IMF representatives announced that their delegation’s visit to Romania within the review mission would be postponed owing to protests taking place across the country, according to realitatea.net. In turn, Romanian representative to IMF Mihai Tanasescu told Realitatea TV that the delegation will arrive in Bucharest as schedulled. The IMF delegation, led by Jeffrey Franks, is scheduled to visit Romania, starting on January 25 and have talks with Romanian officials for two weeks.
