Shares of companies that split from Electrica Muntenia Sud, for sale

Electrica wants to sell this year to Enel the shares it holds in the companies that split from Electrica Muntenia Sud, which was taken over by the Italian group in 2008, but the Government must change the acting legislation, which does not regulate the possibility of including this option in privatisation contracts, reads a draft ordinance quoted by Mediafax. Electrica also holds 23.57 pc stakes in both Enel Distributie Muntenia and Enel Energie Muntenia, 10 pc of each being reserved to Electrica employees.
