RBS and Rompetrol Group agree over EUR 55 M loan

RBS and Rompetrol Group concluded, at the end of 2011, a multi-currency crediting agreement worth EUR 55 M maturing in a year, reads a press release. The Group will use the money to secure the working capital of its two member companies, Rompetrol Gas (the liquefied petroleum gas division) and Rompetrol Downstream (the Group’s retail division in Romania). “(…) For this year, the Group plans to complete the programme of increasing the capacity of the Petromidia refinery to 5 million tons of raw material, to consolidate the activities of fuel distribution in Romania, France, Spain, Bulgaria, Moldova and Georgia, and also to expand its operations to Turkey and Ukraine,” said Dmitry Grigoryev, CFO of Rompetrol Group.
