Austrian group Wienerberger, global leader in brick systems and the biggest producer of the kind in Europe, will build a factory in Iasi County, following an investment worth nearly EUR 22 M, reads a press release quoted by Mediafax. The company rented 41 hectares of land in Iasi County last year, following a public auction which it won by offering the best price. “The growth potential of the Romanian construction market is still attractive for investors, so Wienerberger continues to allocate important resources to local activity,” Mihaela Chelu, Board member with Wienerberger Romania explains in the release.
