ABB supports the technical universities in Romania

ABB Romania has recently sponsored the “Vasile Alecsandri” University in Bacau, by equipping the technical laboratories of the university with ABB electrical apparatus to be used for teaching purposes within the Power Engineering specialization, a press release informs. The ABB relays, contactors, switches, transformers, load disconnectors and surge arresters will prove to be particularly useful for training the students at disciplines such as Protection of Electrical Installations, Electrical Equipment, Substations and Transformers. “Through this program we aim at providing our future specialists access to practical solutions that contribute to understanding concepts such as energy efficiency, grid reliability and environmental protection – attributes which are very important for the future.” – said Peter Simon, country manager of ABB in Romania, Bulgaria and Rep of Moldavia.
