Goldman Sachs-Erste-Raiffeisen wins mandate for the sale of 15 pc stake in Romgaz

The consortium formed by Goldman Sachs, Erste, BCR, and Raiffeisen Capital & Investment won the mandate to intermediate the listing of Romgaz, as it asked for the lowest commission of 1.16 pc of the transaction value, according to capital market sources quoted by Antena3.ro. The Romgaz offer is expected for June, coming after two transactions in which the state will try to sell 15 pc stakes in Transelectrica and Transgaz. The size of the transaction, worth several hundred thousand EUR, implies estimated costs of EUR 1-1.5 M for intermediaries. Given the commission fee of 1.16 pc of a transaction estimated at EUR 400 M, it results intermediaries might win EUR 4.6 M in case of success.
