Romanian participants in Berlin Film Festival

The Berlin International Film Festival, one of the world’s most prestigious film competitions, opens on February 9, Hotnews informs. Productions selected in the 61st edition of the Berlinale include director Radu Jude’s second feature, “Everyone in Our Family”, to be screened in a world premiere in the Forum section. The production “Diaz – Don’t Clean Up This Blood”, directed by Daniele Vicari, whose producers include Bobby Paunescu, was selected in the Panorama Dokumente section. Ana Ularu is one of the ten European actors selected for the Shooting Stars programme, running between February 11 and 13, within the Berlin International Film Festival. Two young directors, Ozana Nicolau and Raluca David, and a celebrated Romanian actress, Ioana Flora, are among the participants in the Berlinale’s Talent Campus section. Last, but not least, the feature “Cristian”, directed by Tudor Giurgiu, was selected in the Berlinale Co-Production Market.
