Cozmin Gusa sells his stake in OTV

Consultant Cozmin Gusa puts his 20 pc stake in Dan Diaconescu’s “People’s Television”, up for sale, given the latter’s denial that anybody aside from him would have any connection with the OTV, “Evenimentul Zilei” reports. According to law, Dan Diaconescu, who is the majority shareholder, has the pre-emption right to buy Gusa’s stake, which explains why Gusa’s lawyers notified Diaconescu in writing about their client’s intention to sell his stake in the television channel. Gusa wants to get USD 40 M on the 19.9 pc stake held in SC Ocram Televiziune, the company operating the OTV channel. The amount is similar to that Strategies Research Investment (SRI) SRL, an enterprise owned by Gusa and Maricel Pacuraru, paid for PSV Company, previously owned by Sorin Ovidiu Vintu and Liviu Luca.
