Democratic-Liberal Party (PDL) senior deputy president Elena Udrea stated on Saturday “there is no reason” to have Roberta Anastase replaced from her office as Speaker of the Lower Chamber. “This matter may have been discussed, I don’t know, one year ago, when all the institutions called upon ruled she had acted within the bounds of the law. Furthermore, the pension law they keep invoking as a motivation for their requests was adopted, it was sent back into Parliament and passed once more, with the MPs’ vote.
