Victor Rebengiuc and Grigore Lese at Romanian Athenaeum

In their first appearance as a duo, Grigore Lese and Victor Rebengiuc will be the protagonists of a unique performance to take place at the Romanian Athenaeum on Sunday, February 26, from 7pm. The production, titled “Lumina Lina” (Soft Light), is dedicated to Ioan Alexandru’s poetry. The poems will stir in us the echoes of ancient chanting, music will wrap us up in its own poetry, while the unique melange of solemnity, tragedy and tenderness may afford us a glimpse of the truth concealed in the world and in human beings. Celebrated thespian Victor Rebengiuc chose, for this occasion, the finest poems written by the poet Ioan Alexandru. In turn, the musician Grigore Lese collected the most poignant folk songs and chants, some never heard before by the public, to let them loose across the world, so they can light and touch our hearts. Tickets are available at RON 70 at the Romanian Athenaeum, in Orange, Vodafone, Germanos and Domo shops, Carturesti bookshops and online on eventim.ro.
