Flamenco Festival on its third edition

The third edition of the festival “Classical Flamenco and the new genres”- an event celebrating the tradition and contemporary adaptations of the art of flamenco – is to take place March 3 to 26 in several Bucharest venues. The festival will kick off on March 3, from 8pm, at the “I.L. Caragiale” Bucharest National Theatre (TNB)’s Grand Hall, with a flamenco recital offered by the company Belen Maya. The second event in the series is a concert by La Shica, on March 4 at TNB’s Grand Hall. Next on the programme is Pablo Sainz Villegas, who will delight music-lovers with two guitar recitals on March 10, at the Romanian Athenaeum’s Grand Hall, and March 11, at the Radio Hall. The event is organized by the Cervantes Institute in Bucharest and the Spanish Embassy in Romania. Tickets are on sale at the TNB, “George Enescu” Philharmonic, ArCuB Hall and Radio Hall box-offices.
