Chief of Teius Police, detained for corruption

Commissioner Marius Pop, the chief of Teius Police, was detained yesterday by National Anti-corruption Office (DNA) prosecutors, being investigated for corruption, failure to notify judicial bodies, forgery, use of forgery and attempt to influence a witness, Mediafax informs. Sources familiar with the investigation stated that the actions for which Pop was detained have to do with the handling of a case in which an official report was canceled.
