Optimistic and encouraging start to 2012 for Mercedes-Benz in Romania

As always, the Mercedes-Benz portfolio of used cars is both diversified and complex, given the high demand, the German car brand representatives said.“In 2011, we marketed at authorized dealerships 327 used Mercedes-Benz vehicles, and the 2012 estimates are in the 500-plus range. Mercedes-Benz offers customers a special used car program entitled “Proven Exclusivity”, which offers the best quality guarantee used car option. Demand is high for used light duty vehicles too, given the best possible conditions offered at competitive prices. In 2012, we estimate to market through authorized dealers nearly 300 Mercedes-Benz light duty used autos,” Gabriel Craciun, Mercedes-Benz Romania SRL Corporate PR/Communications, Marketing & PR/Communications Vans, said.

New Mercedes-Benz A-Class unveiled at Geneva Motor Show

The new Mercedes-Benz A-Class has been unveiled at the Geneva motor show, with a whole new look, economical engines and a hot AMG Sport model, according to BBC. A wide range of petrol and diesel engines will be available, and for the first time ever, Mercedes will offer a car with CO2 emissions lower than 100g/km. The petrol engines use a new form of lean-burn technology, know as ‘Camtronic’, and are all fitted with start/stop technology as standard.
