Constantin Boscodeala, President of PSD Buzau, announced yesterday that the party branch he leads will support USL’s candidate for the County Council only if he is PSD’s representative, “any other option not being accepted.” “I’ve repeatedly asked Victor Ponta and Crin Antonescu to fix the error through which they appointed a PNL representative to run for an office that PSD won through the electorate’s will,” Boscodeala stated in a press communiqué. In reply, Cristi Bigiu, USL’s candidate for the Buzau County Council, stated that it is absurd for PSD Buzau to want to have a candidate, considering that last autumn it was agreed that the Liberals will be the ones to appoint the candidate.
