Bebe Carabina was detained, as the Bucharest District 3 Tribunal yesterday admitted prosecutors’ request to issue a 29-day preventive arrest warrant, which may still be challenged at the Bucharest Tribunal. Carabina shot several times a rubber ball pistol at a policeman, whom he wounded, while he was chased by officers trying to detain him for rape, illegal confinement and driving without a valid license. The injured policeman was taken to hospital with a superficial scalp wound.
