Transelectrica returns on the increase

The Bucharest Stock exchange increased by 0.43 pc in the first part of yesterday’s trading session, in a market with a very low liquidity, in which the shares of Transelectrica (TEL) returned on the increase, during the second day of the offer conducted by the state, Mediafax reports. In the first 20 minutes of trading, Transelectrica shares dropped by more than 1.2 pc, reaching the bottom of the first part of the trading session, at RON 16. Later, the price returned in the green and, by mid-day, the company traded at RON 16.43, which was 1.42 pc above Wednesday’s closing. The price was 10.43 pc above the minimum quotation (14.9 RON/share) asked by the state for the offer in which it wants to sell 15 pc of the company. Operations with Transelectrica shares amounted to RON 173,000. By mid-Thursday, investors subscribed 3.02 pc of the offer, at prices between RON 14.9 and 15.9. Subscriptions cumulated RON 4.9 M (EUR 1.1 M)
