Astra Ploiesti owner Ioan Niculae has hinted that he is displeased with the line-up that Portuguese head coach Antonio Conceicao used in the game against Steaua, a game that Astra lost, score 1-2. Sources from within the club claim that Ioan Niculae was dissatisfied with the fact that Antonio Conceicao did not use Bogdan Patrascu and Junior Morais, Astra’s top players, in the starting line-up. Likewise, the Portuguese coach used a 5-4-1 layout for the first time. “It was a strange team that didn’t know what to play. The fullbacks were in each other’s way and there was nobody in the offence,” an anonymous Astra official stated for ‘Evenimentul Zilei.’
