CSAT session at Cotroceni Palace

The Supreme Council of National Defence (CSAT) is meeting in session at Cotroceni today to discuss the mandate of Romania’s delegation at the NATO Summit in Chicago, May 20-21, according to a press communiqué posted on the Presidential Administration website, which states that the CSAT session agenda includes the Ministry of Administration and Interior (MTI) human resources report for 2007-2011 and the outcome of crackdown actions on tax evasion and criminality in port areas. At the same time, the CSAT members are also expected to discuss the Council summary report for 2011. “The meeting will also approach other topics of national security interest,” the source also said.
