The National Association of Insurance and Reinsurance Companies of Romania (UNSAR) announces that OMNIASIG Vienna Insurance Group returned among its members, after staying outside UNSAR for a while, reads a press release.The decision was made during a General Assembly of the Association, on March 16, 2012. After this move, UNSAR has 23 member companies, which control about 95 pc of the volume of gross premiums subscribed in the market. UNSAR is the only association of insurance companies in Romania. “UNSAR will try to have an active dialogue aimed at expanding the participation of other market actors in its activities during 2012,” said Rangam BIR, president of UNSAR.
