‘Sensation Ocean of White’ and ‘Kings on Ice’ – in Romania this April

‘Sensation Ocean of White,’ one of the most famous dance events of Europe, and ‘Kings on Ice’ are among April’s shows in Bucharest. One of the top events this April is ‘Kings on Ice,’ which will run twice at the ‘Mihai Flamaropol’ skating rink on April 7, starting 3.00 PM and 20.00 PM. The ‘Kings on Ice’ show reached its 4th edition this year, when it will feature famous name of skating and music, like Evgeni Plushenko, Edvin Marton, Brian Joubert, Stephane Lambiel, Surya Bonaly, Fumie Suguri and the pairs Ekaterina Bobrova – Dmitri Soloviev, Vera Bazarova – Yuri Larionov (silver in the dance and pairs events of this year’s European championship), and Fiona Zaldua – Dmitri Sukhanov.The skating and classic music show will be followed by legendary punk musician Marky Ramone, the former drummer of the Ramones – included in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2002 – who will give a concert with his band in Bucharest, on April 9. The show will be opened by the Romanian band ‘Niste Baieti.’The dance phenomenon of Europe, which brings together thousands of youths dressed in white that dance on the music mixed by most famous DJs, will stop in Bucharest on April 21, when the DJs Mr. White, Eric Prydz, Fedde le Grand, Pete Tong and Hardwell, along with Pro FM DJs GreeG and Marius Onuc will mix during the first Sensation show in Romania – ‘Ocean of White’ – that will take place on April 21 at the Romexpo complex in Bucharest. The DJs will mix all night long, in a show that will merge music, dance, theatre, lights and pyrotechnic effects. The Sensation concept originates in Amsterdam, where a new show launches each summer, based on the famous dress-code “be part of the night, dress in white.”Also this month, Latino singer David Bisbal will perform live at the Palace Hall (Sala Palatului) on April 22, accompanied by his band. Among the Romanian artists that will have concerts in the near future, a special place is held by Alexandru Andries, who will sing live on April 23, at Cinema Patria, starting 7.30 PM. On April 24, folk singer Margineanu will launch his album ‘Zaritza’ at the Palace Hall, starting 7.30 PM, while on April 26 Pasarea Colibri will give a concert at Hard Rock Cafe, at 10.00 PM.
